Yep, I did know that. I was happy to be nominated, but I never thought I deserved the award in the first place. You see, I didn't really do any "acting" -- Forever Plaid is more of a concert than a play. Now if it had been a best Vocalist award...

The best moment of the night was from Gloria Dugan, a director who assisted another director's show by doing some set dressing. She won "Best Set Dressing" and her acceptance speech was brilliant: "This was the easiest award I ever won -- I didn't really have to do anything. Set dressing isn't even difficult or challenging." It was a nice tribute to her fellow nominees.
